Kickstarting labor

I’m almost 38 weeks and ready to be done. 3rd child. Baby is very low. Any tips to kickstart labor? What worked for you?

Long, long walks. I was due with twins and i took 2 1-hour slow walks each day for 4 days. Slowest I ever walked! in week 37. Happily, delivered on that 4th day of walking. Fairly easy birth, but really i had no reference as they were my first. No meds, but oooohh boy pretty intense for the last 60 minutes. I was 36 and my now 10-year girls (we didn't know the sex ahead of time) are thriving. They were each exactly 5 pounds, born about 20 minutes apart.

Walk walk walk. My husband had even built a labyrinth in the backyard for me so I could meditate as i did my much shorter walks.

Membrane sweep did it for me with my 2nd pregnancy. Sex is the only other thing my MW told me would possibly work.

??? The only thing proven to work is Cytotec, Cervidil, and Pitocin.

Sex only helps ripen the cervix but an orgasm might help. Don't need semen for that.

Membrane sweep, but you’ll probably have to wait until 39 weeks to get it.

Talk the baby. My acupuncturist suggested this. I went into labor after 2 days of long days where I talked to the baby the whole time, out loud, about how ready and excited we were!

I ordered raspberry leaf tea because I heard it worked - package arrived and water broke right after I opened the box 😂
