I hate every single bra I own- they are insanely uncomfortable!
Please recommend a good place to buy a bra with helpful employees!! |
OP, depends upon where you live. You should go to a good place like a boutique that specializes in bras (like Sylene or The Full Cup) and make an appointment to be professionally fitted. If your bras are uncomfortable, it's because they are the wrong size and don't fit properly.
Nordstroms and I even got fitted by a sales person at Macy's who helped me find some very comfortable bras.
Trousseau in Vienna is great for fittings. I've also gone to the lingerie place near metro center (11th & E I think?) and they were good too.
The time I got a fitting at Nordstrom (Pentagon City) the bras they said were the right size were painfully tight. I've had better luck at Victoria's Secret and JC Penney.
LOVE Trousseau's. I have never had a bad experience there.

3rd the rec for Trousseau in Vienna. Just went and got 3 new bras. Service is great and for boutique they have an awesome selection.

Trousseau Trousseau Trousseau.
I went in there before I got married about four years ago to be fitted for foundation garments and learned I was wearing the wrong size bra. They have seriously changed my life. I love Trousseau. They are unfailingly helpful and patient and they are so great that I honestly feel bad when I order bras from online vendors because they don't have them in stock and I don't have time to drive back to Vienna. |
If you're in Maryland, I love Bra La La - in Fulton aka Maple Lawn (Howard County).
nordstroms is the best all sizes and shapes and prices
NP here, but wanted to thank everyone. Went to Trousseau today based on these recommendations and was very pleased. Much better than previous bra fittings at Nordstrom.
