Questions about Google Phone numbers

Does anyone have experiences with using multiple google phone numbers for multiple jobs? I already use a single google number for a couple side gigs that do not generate emergency calls that I have to take outside of my desired working hours. Someone might call at 10 pm on Sunday or at 5 am on Saturday, but it is never life and death and I can ignore it. I think this has happened maybe 3 times ever.

However, my main job (career) instructed us to provide a google number to the people that we serve. These people are much more likely to perceive that they have an emergency (it really is not) and call outside of normal business hours when I should be free to do my side gigs or R&R. I’m worried that if I ignore calls then, I’ll miss my personal clients, but I could also end up answering clients who are for my main job. I’m not paid overtime.

If you had two or more Google numbers for two or more jobs, who did it work out for you?

The consumer version of Google Voice gives you one free Google Voice phone number. For multiple numbers, there is a paid service called Google Voice for G Suite that might work.
