I really stocked up but I'm getting nervous. My nabe Safeway is empty. Fingers crossed there's food tomorrow.
How about everyone else? |
| The Safeway at Wisconsin and Ellicott was surprisingly full of food, even fresh food, Monday afternoon. Lines weren't bad, either. |
| Trader Joes in Bethesda was fully stocked today and was unloading more. |
| Good to know about trader joes in Bethesda. Just got back from the Giant on Arlington in Bethesda and it was EMP-TY! No meat or chicken except for economy size packs of chicken wings. All produce gone except for potatoes, apples and oranges. Didn't even attempt to look for milk--thankfully stocked up on that already. DH took a couple of pictures because thought it was hilarious how empty it was. |

Ugh thats good to know about Giant @ Arlington. Thats the one I usually shop at but today we went to the one on Democracy becuase Mommy needed to hit the liquor store as well (its for shrimp scampi and coq au vin I swear!) and she didnt want to make 2 stops. That place was a mad house. Still pretty well stocked, but wall to wall people.
I only bought enough for about a week... I hadnt heard that theyre calling for 20 freakin inches so we'll be back out tomorrow. |
| OP here. My Safeway in Adams Morgan was empty this afternoon. I don't know about Harris Teeter. If it weren't for this forecast I would have faith that the shelves would be restocked in the next day or two. Now who knows! |
| Slim pickings at Kensington Safeway-no milk. |
| Glover Park Whole Foods was re-stocking today, they got new shipments in....but the lines were pretty bad.... |
| I'll say it again - Mom's Organic Market off Nicholson - good produce, organic dairy - full shelves. And the organic dairy is cheaper than at HT or Giant. |
| Sniders in silver spring was fully stocked this morning (and stocking more) |
Too band they do not carry Lactaid
|
| As of 3:30 today, Yes! Organic in Cleveland Park had lots and lots of food, including eggs, milk, bread. |
