It seems more than plausible that most students would've been within close contact of an infected classmate so sounds like they're following the guidance as well as can be exepected. |
Common sense that kids are exposed sitting in a classroom for a 7-8 hour day. Come on use the big brain |
Exactly. |
They get exposed, and we have an 86% vaccination rate. That’s how we will get to herd immunity. |
Have you read the CDC guidance? Because it does not say what you're saying. |
I said 'poorly run'. If the administration said to run the classrooms poorly, I guess the buck can be passed. You don't need to socially distance to have seating charts (classroom and lunch) and have a credible semblance of who does/doesn't need to be quarantined vs. the "whole classroom" broad stroke. Right now, if you're an alumnus of the district...watch out, you could get sucked up into a quarantine. |
| Stop complaining already. You wanted schools open in full as normal, you got it. |
Yup! This is what you wanted TogetherAgainMCPS, deal with it. |
| And people wonder why staff, teachers, etc. are quitting or jobs are not filled? All the back and forth yelling and shouting wears one down. |
There is a 0% vaccination rate in Elementary school for students. You may be ok with exposure and covid as you'll just send your sick kid to school but others are not. |
If only they had implemented a proper testing program to begin with! Don’t you agree? |
Parents are do a we say, not as we do. They aren't willing to take those jobs for good reason. MCPS should do a hazard pay. |
Nah. Get ready to have your kid sitting home for 10 days! |
Testing, social distancing, and other safety precautions But, we got none of that as parents wanted so stop complaining. |
But but I bought high quality masks!! |
