Republican Congressman-elect is a total charlatan with an entirely fake résumé

The spelling errors on the last few posts are, as the kids said briefly, “sending me.” Explosion vote, botax…

And chutzpah is correct. I don’t lie. The idea of lying that much, about everything and stupid stuff - I couldn’t do it.

I have a Brazilian friend who said she started preventive Botox at age 30.

If he’s 36, I am the first female president of the United States. My guess is hes more like 47 or 48.

Yeah, lots of places and peer groups that start early with that stuff

Why is Kevin McCarthy on the forums here?

I gotta say, of all the crazy Rs, this guy is more entertaining than the rest of them combined. I admire his moxie and his style. And he will no doubt have one of the best reality TV shows once this is over, if he can keep himself out of jail.

Narrator: Santos would not be able to keep himself out of jail.

It kind of warms my heart that the Republicans may actually expel this bozo even if it costs them the seat. I guess the calculation is that he is a useless liability.

If he is ousted it's crazy what it took to remove him.

I doubt the GOP will expell him, too chicken and they seem to love the crazy right now.

They’re going to get another chance this week: According to a CSPAN producer, Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) on the House floor gave notice of his intent to offer a privileged resolution to expel Santos and force a floor vote. Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), co-lead on the resolution, was seated next to him. House now has 2 days to take action.

ASAP. This has taken way too long. How long does it take to replace him so that district can actually have representation in the house?

By law, Gov. Kathy Hochul must call a special election within 10 days of being notified of a vacancy and the election then must happen between 70 and 80 days from that announcement.

Maybe if the GOP weren’t protecting him it would have moved faster. Al Franken took a dang joke picture and he was out faster. God, the GOP sucks.
