Family-friendly resort within driving distance of Miami

We need a backup plan for a trip scheduled for this week. . . . Can anyone recommend a resort, preferably on a beach, within driving distance of Miami? Thanks!

Lago Mar - a 10 minute ride from the Ft. Lauderdale airport. Playground, great pools, beach right there. Awesome!

Turnberry Isle (great for elem age kids who can swim)
Fisher Island (we went here when DC was 7 months)

both have kids camps, check to see if they are running right now

Lago Mar is fun (we stayed there several times). A little further in the upper Keys is Cheeca Lodge which we really enjoyed as well.

The renovated Fontainbleau is surprisingly kid friendly, has on site kids camp and great kiddie pool. Very parent friendly bars and restaurants on site as well. Especially Hakkasan and Italian place by the pool. DH had to drag me out of there. Spa is OK, but service overall was great 6 months ago.
