puppy is snorting and has a runny nose

I've had dogs with allergies, but they usually itch and scratch. But what else could this be? They don't get colds, do they?

Sounds like kennel cough. My puppy just had it. Has he/she been around many other dogs lately?

Thanks. He has an appointment tomorrow, but he had kennel cough about 6 weeks ago and it was much much worse than this.
