Infertility Support and Discussion
| And am dying to find out the results! Anyone know when they generally call with the results? It's always the same day, right? |
| Yes, it will definitely be today. My (positive) beta call was after 5 pm, but I think usually it's much earlier. |
|
They've called me 3x with beta results (negative; positive but low; negative) and each time it was mid- to late afternoon. Twice my nurse called, one it was my doctor.
I don't think you can infer anything about the results based on when they call- depends on your nurse or doctor, how busy they are that day, etc. And I will say that SG is VERY busy today (was in for monitoring this morning). Good luck! |
| I took a beta today too. I usually get a call b/t 2 and 4...hang in there...I know they are short staffed today, so only a handful of nurses have to make all of the calls today...so maybe expect to hear from them later in the day. |

Hang in there--I know waiting for that beta call can make hours seem like a lifetime.
I have had the experience with my bets, when SGF is short staffed, that the call can come way after 4 PM, so don't worry (I know, easier said than done!) if it is later. GL to you--let us know how things work out. |
| OP here - thank so much for the responses. I got a call around 4pm yesterday- it was positive! HCG was 62. I am supposed to go in tomorrow for a second test, but of course, the snow is going to get in the way. Ugh. |
| HOW MANY DPO ARE YOU? |
| SG doesnt normally do BETA's until 18dpo so if you are 18dpo I would be cautiously optimistic |
| SG does betas for IVF at 18dpo and 15dpo for IUI. |
| OP here. I was 12DPO. I didn't do a regulated cycle this round, tried the old fashioned way and got a positive. But Shady Grove is still letting me come in for the tests. |
