| Anyone have any recommendations about pros/cons? Overwhelmed by choices. |
| All good choices and can’t go wrong. |
| Toyota over Honda right now. Not sure about the Mazda. |
| Telluride or Palisade. They blow the others out of the water, in terms of what you get for the price. The interiors on both are near-luxury, with features unheard of for the mainstream market. |
| We have a 2019 CC9 and absolutely love it- interior is very luxurious and it drives/handles really well. Also test drove Pilot, Highlander and Palisade. Pilot and Highlander didn’t drive quite as well IMO and the interior materials seemed a little cheaper. The Palisade was very nice and had a lot of features as PP mentioned but it honestly felt like a bus to drive.... |
| CX9 not CC9! (PP here) |
| Highlander. Owned a 2011 and now a 2019. Great vehicles. |
| Hondas win, hands down every time. |
|
I only buy Hondas, but given that choice right now, I'd buy the Highlander Hybrid.
When the Pilot comes with a hybrid version next year, or 2022, I'd buy that. |
| We have two Highlanders and love them, but I don't have experience with the others. |
| Highlander |
| The Subaru Ascent. Better than all the rest. |
| How big of a price difference between the three? |
|
Highlander is longer, Pilot is wider and cx9 is smaller than the other two.
I'm a Honda person. But, I'll take Mazda and Subaru. I don't like Toyota for their marshmallow brakes and their plasticity-that's just a personal preference. I feel the others have less plastic than a Toyota. |

The Honda is so outdated, it's ridiculous. Styling, infotainment, features: it needs a complete revamp to catch up. Don't take my word for it:
