I have found some tops for my small 10 yo that she and I both like (it's hard shopping for this age!). I don't know normally buy from Zara kids so I'm not familiar with their sizing. They've got size 8, 9, and 10. She can still fit in size 8 in like Gap and Old Navy, but I get her 10 now for room to grow. Does Zara Kids run large or small?
Thanks! |
| Generally run small. I have a tall & slim 9yr which I'm buying her size 10 at ZARA now and she still have room to grow for the tops. Bottoms part, I would say run about the same as Old Navy, on the smaller end. |
| My son wears Slim sizes in Gap denim. Zara pants & denim are usually much too big in the waist, but comparable in length. Top sizing seems similar to Gap and H&M. |
| I find them huge. My son is almost 2 still wearing 12 months |
| I find they run tts. My 9 year old daughter wears 8-9 but she’s really slim. My more solid 4 year old wears 5 |

It really varies by item, OP. I buy from Zara a lot and it just depends. A coat we bought lasted 2 years beyond when DD was wearing that size, but we buy their sweatshirts a lot and always have to size way up to get the intended oversized fit. But I’ve found pants/leggings/ dresses to run pretty true to size.
When I order online, I size up one or two sizes and hope for the best. When I can, we go in store so we can try on. |
| They used to be nice and slim, but they’ve changed and have HUGE waists. My kid can’t wear their clothes anymore. |
| I used to say they ran large but maybe close to TTS? My small 11-year-old DD loves their size 9 because it fits her perfectly (4, 4", lightweight). |
