| Im in Loudoun County - does anyone know when absentee ballots should arrive? |
|
I'm in Arlington, so I don't know the answer, BUT will say to flip through any magazines and flyers that come in your mail. Someone posted on Nextdoor over the weekend that they happened to find their absentee ballot in between the pages of a catalogue that they almost threw away.
I've seen that happen with other envelopes in the past, so if I were waiting for important mail like a ballot right now I'd be extra observant of everything in my mail box. |
| Fairfax county here. I checked my on line registration and it said my ballot was mailed to me 9/17. |

I've got mine (live in arlington)
Recieved it one day after they sent it out. Check online where you check your voter registration status |
| I'm in Fairfax County, and got mine at the beginning of this week. It's filled out and waiting for me to get a chance to take it to the Government Center drop box. |
| I got mines a couple days ago, live in Alexandria City. |
| First day they'd send them was over a week ago. Got mine (Oakton) middle of last week. Should come very soon, OP, and as a pp notes, be careful re: junk mail. Envelope is a plump colorful one that frankly could get mistaken for a packet of coupons! |
| Some people in Fairfax got two. Why does that stupid stuff happen? It just sows doubt. SMH. |
Part of the “One Fairfax” initiative |
Agree that it was bad, but there was a printing error with labels and unfortunately some people were sent two. The bar codes will kick out the second one if someone was to vote both ballots. That's the beauty of having checks on the system. So, no worries. |
