| Once the snow is gone and it is mostly raining outside, I want to get a pair of rainboots to wear to work so that I stop messing up my shoes. What rainboots do you like? Patterned or solid? Do you take them off when you get to places and then put other shoes on? What types of places would you keep the rain boots on? What kinds of clothes can you wear them with? |
| I love my Hunter boots in black. |

LL Bean's Storm Chasers are good for the snow. I would not recommend rain boots especially that are higher than the ankle. http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/58460?parentCategory=503432&feat=503432-tn&cat4=503425
I bought J Crew wellies a couple of years ago. They were okay in the store, but found out that it was very difficult to walk a 1/2 mile to the metro. Unlike leather boots, these rain boots were not flexible around the ankles and could not walk briskly. Also, it was all rubber, so after 30 minutes in the boots, my feet got hot and wet from lack of ventilation. |

| I love my JCrew wellies and have no trouble walking in them. They are several years old so maybe breaking them in helps. Maine Hunting Shoes or the rubber mocs from LL bean have also served me well, although the latter are only good in lightly wet weather/after a rain. |

My Tokidoki rainboots always make a splash! Tokidoki is an Italian brand inspired by Japanese manga. Very comfortable, made by Chooka from natural rubber.
