Anyone been to the B&O train museum lately?

If so, when? How crowded? What’s the set up? They say they’ve moved a lot of stuff outside but trying to get a sense of set up.

My family went on a Saturday in late July. Almost totally empty, probably 30-40 people there total including employees. Everyone wore masks. Cafe and playground were closed, bathrooms open. They reduced the train rides to one at noon. We skipped the indoor museum part and spent most of our time outside in the roundhouse and train yard. My almost four year old had a blast.

We went Labor Day and it was great! Not crowded at all, everyone wore masks. We did the museum, roundhouse, and train ride.

If your kid likes train, then it’s a must visit.

How much of it is outdoors?

The roundhouse where all the trains are is like a barn where it’s huge and opens to the outside. If you categorize this as outside then 75-80% outside.

The museum inside is 2 rooms so not big.
