| I have a first gen iPad Air (don’t judge!) and will be getting the 4th gen when it comes out in October. I was going to add the folio keyboard but I was wondering in the magic keyboard would be worth the money. Has anyone had experience with both and can recommend one or the other (or neither)? |

| We got the regular keyboard as it was cheaper and not enough differences. We also got the pen which my husband loves. I'm impressed yours is still working. |

I have the smaller iPad Pro but am getting ready to buy the larger one. The eyes aren’t what they used to be, lol!
I’ve tried the Magic Keyboard and really, really liked it. I’ll be buying it with my new iPad. Like OP, I’d be very interested in hearing from someone that already has it. |

OK, OP back. I literally could not order the new iPad 4th gen with my 1st gen iPad! It's that clunky now and I think it's going to finally die when I get the new one next Friday. |

| The magic keyboard is 350. Unless you are never near a computer I don’t think it is worth it. I have a Bluetooth keyboard I keep in my car for rare occasion I need to type something long out. |

| OP, did you end up getting the magic keyboard? If so, how do you like it? Guess the question can go out to anyone who has it. I also just upgraded from a 1st generation iPad Air to to a 4th gen and I'm debating between the smart keyboard folio and the magic keyboard. |

PP here (not OP). I purchased the 13” iPad Pro along with the Magic Keyboard. Love them both but there are some drawbacks. The Magic Keyboard is wonderful but it weighs a lot, making portability a small issue. How much does it weigh? More than the iPad, that’s how much. Because of that, as well as the ergonomics of it, I purchased a slim folio style cover for day to day use. I use the Magic Keyboard primarily at my desk. At $350 the Keyboard is a lot of money. I don’t regret it at all, but it may not be for everyone. |

Thank you, PP! I thought of doing the same thing as you - getting both a cover for daily use and the magic keyboard for when I want to use it more as a laptop. Did you get an Apple cover or did you get something cheaper through Amazon? If the latter, which do you recommend? Debating on that now...

PP again. I’ve been using the Zugu case for about 4 years now and that’s what I chose for the new iPad Pro 13”. My wife selected a different brand for her new iPad and it would collapse on her very often. I suggested she get one like I had but she didn’t like the color. We went online to Amazon and found a brown leather looking one. She loves it. Highly recommend them. The 13” version runs about $80. Worth it. |
