Digging Out your Car

So, if you didn't, why not? Some people are going to have their work cut out for them!

Screw you.

It took several hours for DH to dig out his car. I had some fairly major surgery 9 days ago and can't clean off my car. I am not sure if that's a good enough reason for you though.

I did, but not until late. I was busy trying to entertain a 3 year old without power in the house for most of the day. Our second car is not dug out. Again, because we can't leave the 3 year old in the house unattended. One of us has to stay inside, and that slows down our snow removal.

I'm so awesome, my car is dug out (thanks to DH, I didn't do it). But it's done, so I'm awesome, and anyone who hasn't done theirs is an idiot and not worthy of my time.

I wanted to wait until the snow actually stopped since it seemed silly to do it before. But I have all day to do it today and I am planning on doing it in increments. Believe me, I've got my work cut out for me but so does everyone else who doesn't have a garage and making fun of anyone in this situation is, well, just plain tacky.

It didn't even occur to me to dig out the car whiole the snow was falling! I'm set to stay home for a week, husband ride the metro. Our car is parked on the side of the street, behind a lot of snow plow snow. The street is plowed, though, so I suppose we'll all be out there digging cars out the next day or two.

I'm 6:56, and I was just kidding. Digging a car out of this is a MASSIVE amount of work - I started it but couldn't finish and had to have DH do the rest. We haven't dug out DH's yet (well, it's dug out but not cleaned off, which is really another 2 feet of digging out).

I knew you were kidding. Anyhoo, take any snow removal activities slowly. Do little bits at a time. No use having a heart attack, God forbid.

I use metro a lot so haven't bothered with the car. But I did shovel my sidewalks three times in preparation for when people are out walking again.
