Ideal would be near a smaller city with easy access to parks, skiing, hiking, etc. Prefer cooler climates. Towns with good schools a bonus, especially those that emphasize outdoor education. |

We moved in Connecticut for this and meets our needs we have actual seasons that you can enjoy. Close to parks nature rivers oceans. As for amenities.....not so much lol but we like it |
