longshot RE bananas ripening

Any tricks to get bananas to ripen more quickly? I have some barely riipe bananas and want to make choc chip banana bread for comfort food. Are there any tricks to getting bananas to ripen more quickly? (Like in an hour? OK, i'll settle for by tomorrow AM).

For quicker ripening, put them in a brown paper bag - but will still take a few days. From green to overripe in 12 hrs? Sorry, I don't think it's possible.

But I have roasted them (in their skins), then used the gloppy banana flesh in the regular banana bread recipe - it works fine. You might want to add a wee bit more sugar (or brown sugar) to compensate for the fewer sugars in the banana.

Put them in a brown paper bag with an apple or other ripe fruit.
