| After a local celebrity. Should I tell them or is that stalkerish? |
| Fauci?? |
| No, after someone on WAMU. Would it be flattering to know? |
| Kojo! |
|
Kojo?
Yes, they will totally get a kick out of it. Not stalkerish. (FWIW, I say this as someone who works in public media, but not at WAMU. We're a nerdy group, generally speaking.) |
| OP here: I love kojo but no. It’s a weather guy. |
Don't tell. If I were him I would be slightly embarrassed. |
But the cat is really cute. I don’t even know what the weather guy looks like I just like his name. |
doesn't matter. Wouldn't you be weirded out if someone named their cat Joan Smith? |
|
Alright. I named him after Matthew Cappuci! |
| You could send a tweet and tag him |

Why do YOU need to get attention because you chose to name your pet this name?
You like the name/person so you named your pet after them. Why do you feel a need to get their attention by telling them? Hell yes it is stalkerish. What exactly do you expect them to do - tell you how wonderful and flattered they are? Ask to meet you and the pet? Grow up. |
+1.. OP couldn't even suppress it enough on DCUM for 5 posts. This is so attention seeking. |
