| I am overthinking this and would appreciate suggestions. Looking for well-made, comfortable, everyday jeans that I can basically wear now (20-ish weeks) through delivery. |
| I really liked H&M maternity denim. It’s well priced and was the best I tried, even compared to the high end brands. |
| I liked Gap (on sale). The H&M ones had no stretch and were so uncomfortable. |
| Just go for the cheapest you can find. We’re under quarantine and the reality is that no one is going to really be seeing you except for the doctor. Make it easy on your wallet and mind. |
| I just got a pair of old navy and they aren’t bad |
| Paige. Expensive but I wore them practically daily through two pregnancies, and actually wore them today (one year postpartum) because Covid belly! Worth the investment. |
| Old navy |
| I tried a bunch but found that H&M fit really well. |
| I like Gap best. I hate the over belly ones, and Gap seemed to have the best jeans that sit below the bump. |
|
During my first pregnancy I bought 2 pairs on super sale from old navy and splurged on 1 pair of Madewell. I've work them through 2 pregnancies now so happy with that.
You can also find lots of maternity clothes for super cheap on marketplace. |
That's what I buy too. I can't wear over the belly maternity pants (I'm short waisted with longer limbs) and Gap's are comfortable and below the bump. |
Poshmark, too. People usually sell their entire maternity wardrobe at once so you can bundle a few items and get a discount that way. |
ThredUp has some good deals too. |
| Figure out what style works best for you first. I, for example, have a really flat butt, and only the over bump panels would stay up. I tried the Old Navy ones without the panel and they were constantly falling down. I got a pair of their full panel shorts, and the panel never stayed up. My favorites were the Kohl’s brand line, which I got on clearance with a 30% off coupon, so about $10 a pair. Plus they had all 5 pockets instead of the faux pockets lost maternity jeans have. |
| why wear jeans? wear leggings |
