need advice, please!

| It's been over 6 weeks (6 weeks and 2 days exxactly) since my D&C. Should I be worried I haven't gotten my period?! I haven't even had so much as a mild period sytem either! I'm worried/scared and don't know if I should be avoiding coffee, alcohol, etc. And with this storm, I won't be able to see the doc for awhile! I'm going to get a pregnancy test right now, before the weather gets worse. Please give me your experiences and advice! Thank you! |

| No, as hard as it is, it can take a long time for that first period. It took a couple of weeks for my bleeding to stop after my d&c and then like three or four more for my period to come, which put me at about 6 weeks. Sorry, hope that it comes soon... |

| I got my period 6 weeks after D&C, so you're not that over due. It takes a while, sorry it's taking longer for you. Enjoy your alcohol and coffee, I would! |

i never did get a period after my d&c. to estrogen & provera to have a period....
drink up! |
