Annapolis / Chesapeake seniors communities

My MIL wants to move nearer to us for retirements. She comes from the south and loves the water. Since she's still in good health, she doesn't need to be right next to us so I was thinking something near Annapolis might work (we are about 30-40 minutes from there).

Does anyone have any suggestions or references for these places?

No direct experience, but I've heard good things about Ginger Cove CCRC.

We did a tour of Ginger Cove and liked it quite a bit to consider moving my mother there. Ginger Cove is a buy-in plus a monthly fee, is that what you are looking for?
