| What do people think about Biden’s slogan: “Battle for the Nation’s Soul”. I believe that Trump is a threat to democracy as we know it, but I wonder how well the slogan will resonate with voters who are concerned about pocketbook issues and issues of public health right now.... |
| I like the meaning but it’s a bit clunky. |
| I like the slogan and coronavirus, the economy and schools are my top issues. Part of the "soul" of this country is ethical, intelligent leaders, not corrupt, incompetent reality show hosts. The slogan still works. |
| Too esoteric and the “soul” element is designed to attract voters that are probably more inclined to favor Trump due to being anti-abortion etc |
| I think “be best” is perfect, but it is taken... |
| Completely hyperbolic, so it should definitely appeal to his base. |
| 57 days out from November 3 - a slogan really doesn't really matter at this point. |
| I don't like it. We are in a pandemic. People died, lost their jobs, could not feed their family... It is kind of weird to talk about soul. |
His base is not stupid like the maggots. |
Well we are gonna lose a couple hundred thousand more souls by the end of winter if we don’t change course. |
| I like the Stop The Bullshit one |
If they fall for that slogan they don’t stand for anything. |
On the contrary... his base is so mind numbingly stupid, they’ll eat up this absurd slogan like it’s avacado toast. |
|
I thought it was Build Back Better.
But maybe I’m thinking of Veep? |
Maybe it’s a subtle nod to the line in Hamilton. To hook all those Broadway fans that are equivocating. Whatever, I like it. Most people don’t pay much attention to slogans anyway. Unless they make little sense and are flaunted on garish baseball caps
