How difficult to find an accounting job in the Bay area currently

My sister lost her job in March and has relied on our parents to support her financially. She claimed that it is impossible to get a job in the pandemic. She has bachelor and master degrees in accounting. Previous job experience was in tax area. How difficult to find an accounting/tax job in the bay area currently?

Hiring has squeezed a bit. However, accounting is a desired field and there are opportunities everywhere, especially with a masters.

Thank you. That's what I thought. I think she is afraid of getting infected. She has not stepped out her apartment since April although she is healthy and does not have any underlying condition.

Do most accounting jobs in bay area require you to be on-site/in the office or you are allowed to work from home?
