Call from the Chancellor's office, evening of 2/11?

| I just missed a call due to the *&^^%^ cordless phone that started "searching" after I answered. I did *69 and the call was from the Chancellor's office. Anyone else get some kind of announcement tonight? Is there some weather decision? Because the phone took and dropped the call there was no VM either. |

Perhaps it was the call announcing that DC schools will close tomorrow at noon?
But I am confused by the date in your subject line. Also, my call came directly from my elementary school, so maybe it's not the same? |

| 19:34 back. Yes, it was the announcement about DC schools closing at noon tomorrow. I just got the call (I am toward the end of the alphabet!). |

OP here, sorry about the date typo.
I think that must have been it. I think they use an automated system. Hm, that seems like a wise decision, need to line someone up to pick up DC. Thanks, PP. |

| Now the warning of the snowpocalypse has been pushed back to 6 am Friday rather than 10 am. I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel. |

What is your source for the update? Not challenging it, just curious, NOAA does not have a 6 am start yet. |
