Masks outside at daycare

What is your daycare’s policy on child mask wearing while outside? E.g. are they required to wear a mask while on the playground?

No mask during snack/lunch, nap and play ground time

Ours is having kids keep them on but they can pull them down to let their nose out. Not sure why they just won’t let them take the masks off.

I believe ours wears them all the time except eating. Easier than trying to explain epidemiology and wind currents to 3 year olds who likely don’t distance consistently on a playground.

Ours lets them have them off outside, but must be on inside except when eating (spaced out.)

Off on the playground. The class is small and the playground pretty big, and the kids are under three so not really playing together (more parallel play).

My two year wears a mask every day, so I am no anti mask idiot. But make sure they take them off to sleep for safety. (Europe says under 11 shouldn’t eat them at all.)

Ours wear them on the playground.

We noticed a daycare teacher walking a group of children (toddlers) outside today and she was not wearing a mask. We found this pretty alarming. This is in Cap Hill.
