| How much do you pay monthly for insurance if you have teen drivers in your household, and what is your insurance company? I know there are a lot of variables. I'm just trying to figure out if there are any cheaper options out there. TIA |
| I have a newly minted 16 year old teen male driver. We have 3 cars - 2006 Toyota, 2014 Toyota, 2019 Subaru. Clean driving records, multi-policy discount. We live in Moco and pay $2700 annual with Erie. I shopped around to Geico, Amica, and USAA - it was about the same or pretty negligible everywhere, so I stayed with Erie. |
Thanks. How much did it go up when you DS got his license? |
| I shudder to think about this...going to have two teen male drivers at one point on my insurance (which is insanely low because I have been accident/claim free for 20 years). |
PP here - I think it went up around $800-900. Not pretty, but expected. At least I make him pay for gas, lol. |
| I have two teen drivers and three cars. I pay 1,700 a year in MoCo |
Holy crap! With what agency? I'm PP with a DW and one teenager and I pay $2700 in MoCo. |
Geico. I do have three regular American cars that range from 3-9 years old with full safety features. I think type of car also raises. If I had a Jeep Wrangler, Range Rover and BMW might be more. |
| Honda Pilot 18, Honda CR-V 19- 1100 per year. Geico. Added girl- additional $71 per month |
