Tesla? Still loving it? Repairs?

Tell me your thoughts on the Tesla now. How long are repairs taking now? Any problems? Reliable? How is charging? Frequent stations? Still love it?

M3 LR for a year and a half. Still love it. Only problem I had was a slow leak from a nail in a tire...the Tesla mobile service was out my house in less than an hour and fixed it.
Charging is fantastic...superchargers everywhere now.

Coming up on 1 year with my LR M3, and I've loved every minute of it.

No problems whatsoever, no repairs needed. Charging is a breeze, I've got a home L2 charger powered by solar, so I wake up to a full "tank" every day for free. I've taken it on several long trips to Pittsburgh, Vermont and Boston and superchargers are abundant and well located.

I wouldn't trade it for any other car except maybe the Performance version.

And yet, they're so ugly. Can bring myself to buy one.

Personally I think Teslas are gorgeous but either way, you don't see it from the driver's seat, and once you get in the driver's seat you'll be hooked.

Lol. I agree. If I want a space ship, I would go to NASA and get one. But the inside is sweet!!

known to have the lowest quality paint jobs in the entire automotive industry. new paint jobs a few years later are expensive.

I live in Charlotte and we have a lot of transplants from NYC, Connecticut and even the DC area. I'm originally from here. It seems that the latest fad is to drive a Tesla. They take the money they save on taxes from up north and buy a new and fancy car and live house and car poor. And they ride down these country roads out in Waxhaw going 80 mph. Its so stupid.

If NASA has a rocket like that, sign me up!

I live in DC, am originally from NC, and I totally believe this! So funny.

It's interesting to read the responses re: repairs and care. Keep em coming, Tesla owners.

We’re going on 4 years with our Model S and love it. No major repairs. Even the knowing of getting a Model Y or X when the lease is up on our gas car.

We're on our third Tesla and right now, we wouldn't own any other car. We had the Model X for four years (Paint job looked like new - no idea what PP was talking about!). We've had the top level Model 3 for about a year now, and just traded the X for the new Model Y. We loved the X, but honestly I hated the falcon doors. They were more of a nuisance than anything. We have a charger in our garage and like a PP said, there are so many super chargers now, and the newer models charge really fast so road trips are very easy. I will admit that when we first got our X, it took about an hour to an hour and a half to fully charge at a super charger which added a lot of time to road trips. But now it takes about 15 - 20 minutes, so it's really no different than having to stop for gas.

Teslas are VERY low maintenance and a dream to drive. The interiors of the 3 and the Y are sleek and clean, and the seats are so comfortable.

And beauty is in the eyes of the beholder - I personally think they are beautiful.

We’ve had our Model X for four years and still absolutely love it. We’re planning to get a Model 3 sometime this year, when our elderly second car finally kicks the bucket (farewell, sweet Prius).

I think they’re gorgeous, too. They’re also incredibly safe and SO fun to drive.

For a full charge? I thought to fully charge the Y at a Supercharger its 60 minutes. Or are you saying 15-20 minutes because you're never really close to empty/low -- i.e. you usually stop at Superchargers when you're 1/2 full or so to top off?
