What kind of formula do I give my 10 month old that is being weaned from exclusively breastfeeding?

He’s been exclusively breastfed but I’m going to start formula but try to to continue breastfeeding at night. What is the best formula for this?

Any kind you want! Anything he will drink. Pick something widely available so you can easily get some more when you are out but failed to notice in time (not Costco since they have short hours).

Good luck!

You can use any kind. For convenience, we liked the ready to feed bottles version sold by Similac. since you’ll only be supplementing for a couple of months until introducing cows milk, I am presuming, it’s not a big expense versus powdered for a shorter time. For us, the convenience was unmatchable.

Buy a couple of different brands of ready to feed bottles at Target and try them out. Start with the regular formula (like the yellow version of Enfamil). Mix with breast milk half and half at first if baby doesn't take it initially. Also you may need to try different bottles and/or nipple sizes.

Stage one or two? Doesn’t matter??

We like the Hager we gentlease with probiotics but it's basically all the same. Get the cheapest one your baby will drink.

As long as it's an infant formula you're good. Toddler formulas don't have the required nutrients.
