| I went and saw an RE for an initial consult. She scheduled me for Exam and sonogram, blood work, and an HSG. Spouse is supposed to be doing blood work and sperm analysis. Once everything has been completed likely next week. I am supposed to come back for a follow up visit. At this follow up, what should I be expecting? Do they go over individual results? or what it looks like is going on as a whole? At this appt do they discuss options and if so, how long after do things start up? Thanks in advance I feel super lost. |

| We went back for a visit after all the initial test results were in. The RE discussed our numbers and laid out the options. Then she handed us off to the nurse. Once we decided we were going forward things moved very quickly. We mainly communicated with the nurse from that point on. |

Like the pp, we also went back for a consultation to discuss results and options. During that meeting, we decided to proceed with IVF and then we were handed off to a nurse.
In retrospect, I wish I knew more about IVF at that tkme to ask better questions regarding protocol, drug dosage, etc. I went into IVF not knowing much about the various protocols and medications until about a week before and then had tons of questions. If you are thinking of IVF, IUI, or other options, you may want to do some research beforehand and come up with some questions to ask. |
