Catholic schools in Marin?

Anonymous
Is there anyone on the board who has knowledge on Catholic schools in Marin? We are moving to Kentfield/Ross area and looking for Catholic middle schools for our DD. We like St. Hilary's, but do mostly Tiburon/Mill Valley families go there?

Thank you!

I live in Greenbrae. Several neighborhood families attend St. Patrick in Larkspur. The campus is off Magnolia so it will be an easy drive (or bus ride) from Kentfield/Ross.

For high school, Santa Catalina is a boarding school in Monterey that many SV families attend.

Seconded. St. Patrick is your best bet. St. Anselm is great as well and close to Kentfield. Marin County is not a very religious area, especially when it comes to catholicism. So unfortunately, there are not many catholic schools in the county. For high school, there will be more options if you are okay with your kid commuting on public transportation or on a school commuter bus. Marin Catholic (or MC) in Greenbrae is the school that the catholic K-8s feed into. St. Ignatius, or SI, (my alma matter) in San Francisco is another fantastic option. Convent (also in SF) is independent and much more difficult to get into, but has been the choice of catholic blue blood types in Marin and SF for decades. Sacred Heart in SF is also an option.

Sacred Heart in SF is highly regarded and regarded well outside of SF too, so it will have a long-term benefit for a daughter.

I also second Santa Catalina for HS.

Sacred Heart as in Convent right? The school that most people refer to as Sacred Heart is SHCP. SHCP (or SH) is a good school but definitely a tier below Marin Catholic, SI, and Convent.
