Guess - when will ASPEN be up?

OK - it is up but with limited functionality. They typically shut it down for transition from one school year to the next.
Any thoughts on when it might be back up with full functionality?

Next week. That’s when class schedules are supposed to be available for MS and HS students.

FYI for people with kids at Deal: it looks like homerooms have been assigned in Aspen. No class schedules or teacher names, but if you have older kids who remember what teachers were in what rooms, you might be able to piece together a decent guess at the team your kid is on.

We are a new family with a sixth grader. How do we access Aspen?

Kids can also log into Canvas now to see their course assignments (navigate to Future enrollments from Courses) and teachers.

I suspect you just go to aspen site and login with kids ID but it’s not working for me.

Ok, so Ms. Neal just sent out her Sunday newsletter , including a bit about Aspen for Deal students:

Aspen
Student schedules should be available in student/parent Aspen accounts by mid-week. Returning Aspen users will use their same log-in credentials as last year. New Aspen users will receive their information directly at the email address we have on file by mid-week. Please look for an email from the “Aspen Family Portal”. Students/families who need Aspen support should email [e-mail].

Deal will host an Aspen Drop-in Support Session on Wednesday, August 26 from 4:30 - 6:00 pm. We will email the Zoom link later this week.
