Direct flights to Miami--tips for cheaper flights?

I am trying to find a decently priced direct ticket for a weekend in April to MIA. Its currently pricing at over $350, which seems extremely high! Any advice on where to look would be apprecited. . .

FLL is often cheaper...

Agree re FLL. Also, try Southwest, if you haven't already. They don't show up on the orbitz's of the world. Keep looking prices change constantly.

have you ever tried a site like kayak.com? it will show you fare trends and give you an idea of the best time to buy.
