Just when you thought free class week was over, to showcase their classes and draw folks up to the new location, Contradiction Dance is offering a free trial class in just about anything - both adults and kid's classes.

These folks are vibrant and creative and offer just about everything from hip-hop and jazz to ballet and ballroom. My 4 year old has been taking the creative movement class for a couple years running now and absolutely loves it. She actually has a new teacher who has taught children's theatre and dance and I hear fascinating stories from her that they dance and act out. She loves it!

Contradiction Dance has moved out of the Takoma Park location, but they are still right up in Downtown Silver Spring and it actually ends up being pretty convenient because the parking is not as much of an issue since they are in the Wayne Ave garage. For dropping off the kids, there is a drop-off lane so you can bring them in and drop them off. Metro-wise, it is just a stone's throw from the Silver Spring Metro.

Two things that I have brought up with Kelly, which some of you have asked about, are the possibility for childcare and classes for home-schoolers. Although they can't provide child-care as it is outside their license, She is willing to figure out a space that parents can co-op baby-sit if a group wanted to do a class together (like Saturday Zumba - an exercise dance groove)

She is also interested in continuing to offer special home-school classes if you have a group of 7 kids who would like to participate. Just let her know and she can work out the schedule with you.
