Pampers Baby dry v Swaddlers

We have been using pampers swaddlers but I accidentally bought a large (256 ct) box of pampers "baby dry" diapers from Amazon. I have read Amazon comments and review sites like Wirecutters that baby dry are not as good as Swaddlers. What do people think? Once I open the box we have to get through it and its pretty darn big if we dont like them ...

Just try them. It’s not really that important.

Whether you like them depends on many things including your kid. I hated swaddlers. They didn’t fit my kids and they stunk of that fake baby powder odor.

This happened to us recently too. I don’t like them quite as well as the swaddlers, but they really aren’t all that different!

We used swaddlers for NB and size 1, then cruisers for size 2 and 3 because they had better coverage for when baby was rolling and crawling, and then baby dry for size 4 and 5 because they hold a lot of liquid, and as toddler got bigger, a single pee was a big pee.

I found no difference, use whichever is least expensive

I thought the Baby Dry had a scent I wasn't fond of. But if it doesn't bother you, then go for it.

IIRC, we used the swaddlers through the day and baby dry at night.

That said.. don’t overthink this. If they fit, use them. Even if you don’t love them, they’ll be gone, like any other consumable. The rest of the noise is all marketing.
