We try to take the kids out on weekends since they are stuck at home on weekdays while we are working from home. Depending on how busy we are work, sometimes they don’t even leave the house at all. Tomorrow it’s going to rain all day and we don’t dare to take them anywhere indoor. I guess I’m looking for suggestions on things to do when it’s raining. |
Put on rain boots and head to a park. |
Depending on the age, cook something, or watch how to draw videos online or how to do origami or how to make a cool paper airplane. Make your own salt dough and make a map of an island and mark an X where treasure is buried and color the dough with food coloring to make blue water and rivers. Put all the couch cushions on the floor and pretend to have your own drive in movie. Make cards for hospital staff, including the housekeeping staff. |
+1. We put on hats and went out to the National Colonial Farm today. Toddler got to find out how soggy sheep get when it rains and you pet them ![]() |
This. I used to live in Brussels at a school. It rained all of the time there but kids went out to recess everyday. Rain boots, rain jackets and even rain pants. |
Eh i let my kids have unlimited screen time. |
