Estrogen Patching? - estrogen supplementation is necessary for some procedures, like frozen embryo transfers... the estrogen is sometimes supplied via an estrogen patch on the abdomen (but can also be taken as a pill or vaginal suppository depending on what it is used for and doctor preference)

hatched blast - a blastocyst (embryo that has survived to day 5 or 6 and has the requisite cell number and formation to be called a "blast") that is "hatching from its outer shell - this is considered good and that the embryo may have a better chance of attaching to the uterine wall
TESE - some sperm thing (not sure)
MFI - Male Factor Infertility
IUI - a step down from IVF - when the doctor primes the female with hormones, times the ovulation and then deposits semen at the right time
IVIG - an immunological infusion not usually provided by general fertility docs - a reproductive immunologist may prescribe if the patient has immunological issues that need to be suppressed to facilitate a preganancy
FET - frozen embryo transfer
PGS - genetic testing of an embryo to make sure it has all chromosomes before transfer (if you do PGS you have to have a frozen embryo transfer because it takes time to do the genetic testing )
3BB - grade of Blastocyst - not uniform among fertility clinics
5BBjavascript:void(0);
BCP - birth control pills
DD - dear daughter
DS - dear son
im sure there are more but i am missing them now. theres probably someone out there like me that is trying to keep up too.

TESE is testicular extraction of sperm. Basically they use a needle to extract the sperm from the testicle rather than having it be ejaculated. Because he ejaculation process contributes to DNA fragmentation for some people.

OP, Resolve has a good dictionary of acronyms: https://resolve.org/infertility-101/infertility-faq/infertility-acronyms/. Their message boards are also really good so you might take a look at those as well as DCUM, though I've found this board to be really supportive (unlike most of the other snarky topics on this forum ).
