I'm really pissed-off right now, and really needing to vent.
We were looking to send our children to daycare. My partner got the documents on Wednesday from the daycare. I asked about it and partner shared them with me yesterday. Some forms were missing so I called the daycare. I was able to fully fill them out yesterday night, but partner needed more time to think about it. I finally sent them this morning to daycare and immediately got a reply that all spots had been filled out... I'm pissed. Thanks for reading. |
| Oh no, that’s stressful, I’m sorry. |
| Very stressful. |
| Ugh. Sorry, op. That sucks. |
| That is stressful. Next time you be in charge. My DH is good at a lot of things but paperwork isn’t one of them. |
| I’m sorry. I’m pretty pissed off right now too - a million little things and a few big things |
|
I would be furious, but in another sense, daycare isn't safe during Covid-19, so... what's your backup plan? |

He’d better learn fast: You snooze, you lose
Esp for kid sign up in this area. |
| It probably wouldn’t have made a difference if you sent them last night instead of this morning. |
This and it was their incompetence to start with as they didn't even give you the correct forms which delayed things. Annoying yes but I wouldn't blame DH. |
| Daycares suck. |
+1 The spots were filled already, and they were just placating you by giving your family the forms at all. Also “looking into” daycare doesn’t ring like “decided on daycare” to me. |
All of this, and would you really want to send your kids to a daycare , who is this sloppy with just basic forms. Imagine how sloppy they could be with other things during COVID1 Maybe this will be a blessing in disguise, and a better, safer, daycare option will open up. |
