Ever since I m/c last summer, I have brown spotting that starts 4-5 days prior to onset of my period. Every time. I have it now, but no cramping or immediate signs of my period coming.

I started googling this, but I can't find any reliable sources of information (I know, I know - then why am I HERE?). Nothing else seems really abnormal to me, but my cycles are in the 35-36 day range it seems. Everything I find online seems so inconclusive - it could be something, or it could be nothing.

Should I call my doc?

I recall somewhere that brown spotting for several days before your period could indicate low progesterone. And if your progesterone is low after ovulation that can result in miscarriage. Might be worth having that checked. I think that's a common problem.

OK. I did see something similar. It gives me an excuse to call the office and talk to the nurse. Ugh. I hate this stuff.
