Looking for any leads on soccer likely to have regular, serious, safe practices near CapitolHill this fall. No need for major games or tournaments or actual travel. Advice most appreciated.

Washington Capitol United?
|
| Wcu except no one is practicing and there isn't even an attempt for ad hoc small group training unless you pay a coach for private training. |
| DC moves so slowly, they will cancel youth sports for the next 4 years. |
Yes. Thus is a good club with good coaches. They practice at the new fields at RFK. No need to go any further if you live on Capitol Hill. https://wcunited.org/ |
| Arlington is an easy drive |
Probably a better chance of getting in some meaningful play as well. |
| check out total futbol, in hyattsville. |
Fantastic teams, really good coaches, fun to watch. They routinely have top teams in the area on the boys side. |
What close in clubs or teams in Arlington would you suggest checking out? Thanks in Advance! |
McLean or Villarreal or Alexandria. Possibly Lee Mount Vernon. |
Arlington. Depending where they practice it can be 15 minutes from DC. |
Alexandria or McLean. Lee Mount Vernon is missing several teams in several age groups, they continue to downsize their coaching and directors pool. They'll be removed from CCL soon. Alexandria and McLean are both proven clubs at developing their players. |
Agreed. Some of the Arlington practice fields include: Long Bridge (Crystal City) Pentagon City Woodbridge MS (North Arlington) Thomas Jefferson MS (Glebe Road) Gunston (South Glebe Road) |
Yes, Arlington (ASA) they have like 6 travel tiers and they're always happy to take your money! |
