Julius West Middle School?

I would appreciate any feedback you have on Julius West Middle School. Are the kids well behaved? Is there a concern about safety or drugs? Are academics the main focus? How are the extracurricular activities? We are looking at the area and are hearing mixed reviews about the school but do not actually know anyone who has kids there or recently had kids go through there.
