How effective is IVIG?

Did anybody without actual autoimmune diseases (lupus, hashimoto, arthritis, etc.) take IVIG infusion for implantation failure and it worked?

IVIG is in very short supply right now, allocation isn't going to those for fertility issues. It's being used for critical patients only, even maintenance for chronic conditions is on hold

Somebody asked about her chance to get pregnant after 50 in another thread and some people jumped in judging her for being an "older mom." Somebody else asked about adoption process and another poster came in with "all the bad things about adoption." Why can't people just move on if they don't have the answer to the posted question.

You can get it for fertility now. I'm trying it, but it's a last ditch attempt

It didn't work for me but it does work for plenty of women. I had 2 rounds (almost 9 years ago now!) and still miscarried twice while on it. Neupogen did work for my implantation issues. What doctor are you working with? I do not have a diagnosed autoimmune condition like RA or lupus, but did have positive APS, which is how we were able to get it covered under insurance.

Did you do this in the DC area? If so, would you mind sharing who you saw for the IVIG and Neupogen?

Not PP, but Dr. Abbasi tells you to go to Dr. Priego. He prescribes the neupogen and IVIG. It's typically not covered now.

IVIG didn’t work for me but intralipds did

IVIG worked for me but only when I also did Lupron Depot to reset my lining. Neither of these worked independently.

I was able to get the IVIG covered through an immunologist. He re-wrote the prescription I had from the Beer Center and BCBS covered it. That was 6 years ago so not sure how things may have changed in the meanwhile.

Oops, sorry—just saw that you specified without autoimmune disease. I do have Hashimotos.

OP, have you done the e-tegrity test to verify that you’re making beta3 integrin? If not, I’d check this too before you go down the IVIG road.

OP here. Is e-tegrity test similar to ERA? My first ERA failed so I am going to repeat it. I do not have autoimmune diagnosis. It's just I've covered everything else and immunologist issue is the only thing left.
