| What are your thoughts on Trig’s new youth program, taking 2025-2027? |
| As long as he does not add girls lacrosse teams he can have at it. |
|
Gross.
Maryland Case Search. Type his name in. |
|
He is arrogant and over-rated. Back in the day (10 years ago) he had clout with colleges and being a Blackwolf player opened doors. Now his program is nothing special. Many better clubs out there. Trig is a money grabber (and pedophile). He helps only the super stars in his program. |
| He tried to form teams in this age group a year or two ago and it did not get off the ground. He wont get many players from the first tier teams in the area (VLC, MadLax, NextLevel, BLC). Maybe he can pull players off teams like Cavalier and Hammers, but I doubt it. |
The history on Maryland Case Search is extensive. Clearly something bad happened. That poor girl and her family. |
| Did they even play this summer? |
| Youth program makes perfect sense. Clearly has a history of manipulating children. |
The kids are one thing but the parents all know the history. On top of that, we all know they know his history and choose to accept it. SMH |

Blackwolf has been struggling now for a number of years now.
No need to hash out why on this thread. |
Someone told me they don’t ever play games, it’s basically only a training program. |
| Tournaments would cost him $ |
| They play about 2-3 events per year in a normal year but none this summer |

I doubt a new entrant into the market at the youth level is likely to be successful. In the youth market right now, Madlax still solidly dominates the NoVa market. NL and Bethesda get the vast majority of the good MoCo players. Cavs has put together fairly solid youth teams in the younger age range and VLC has moved into the youth market and already has some moderately successful youth teams, though they have just started to try to build elementary teams. Hard to see Blackwolf even achieving parity with Cavs or VLC. There just aren’t enough strong youth players to feed another team.
The problem the high school age only programs are having is that the stronger players are playing club much younger now. So the teams and talent consolidate at far younger ages than even a few years ago. So by the middle school years now teams are more sorted by talent - and a lot of the movement that used to happen in the seventh and eight grade are happening now by like fifth grade, which is crazy. But it’s definitely a far different market now than the days when Madlax, BW, and VLC could nab strong players in late middle school and field strong high school teams. |
| Exactly. |
