Recommend your cycling shoes

I've gotten into spin class this year and if I keep going consistently I plan to treat myself to a pair of cycling shoes. I am clueless as to what to look for/what brands are worth buying. Anyone have a pair they like?
To add - I don't have room for a Peloton or any home exercise bikes, so no need for Peloton or any special shoes. |

| I like my Specialized shoes, but like any shoe it depends on your feet. Go to a local bike shop or REI and try on a bunch. Or you could order a bunch from REI.com and just keep one. Return the rejects to the store to avoid shipping costs and effort. |
