Where to get DS tested in DC

Anonymous
DS has mild symptoms and we want to get him tested for COVID. His doctor recommended a few places but said from what they are hearing no where has good turn-around times right now and they're hearing about some not great experiences at testing sites from other parents. Anyone do very recent testing in DC and have a good experience?

Children's is getting results in less than 24 hours.

We go to a Children's pediatrician and she said they don't have their drive-up testing anymore and aren't doing in-office testing. He's not sick enough to go the ER, so not sure Children's is an option (but please tell me if you know otherwise!)

We did testing today in Congress Heights. No line and it was well done. However the turnaround time will be up to 5 days I think.

The other option OP is to pay for a homebased option. If you are willing to spend $150 or so you can get a saliva based test shipped to you and results in 36 hours.

I see DC tags here. You wait in the car and they come to you.
