MLB's surreal season

A week since Opening Day and it's definitely a thing to behold.

To wit:

-- Nats win as the visiting team playing at Nationals Park because Canada kicked out the Blue Jays.
-- They win in extra innings using the softball ITB rule that starts a runner on second base in extra innings. I actually like this rule because it brings more strategy to extra innings rather than just guys swinging for the fences. Certainly made for an entertaining 10th yesterday.
-- Managers and umpires taking a minute to mask up before arguing. This is actually hilarious.
-- Empty stands but piped in crown noise. Weird.
-- Creepy cut-outs of fans in the stands in some stadiums. This is the stuff horror films are made of.
-- 17 Marlin players and coaches testing positive so games postponed. Because Florida. I hate Florida. Florida is the devil.
-- Pitchers have to face a minimum of 3 hitters in relief (or finish an inning).
-- Universal DH. Not a fan in general, but understand why they're doing it this year. That said, I miss watching Max and Stras bat.
-- Every stat is basically magnified 2.7 times.
-- Play is generall sloppy as "summer camp" does not equial "spring training."

It's a hoot.
