Fresh or frozen fish?

Easy meals?

Snacks?

Prepared meals?

We recently went and picked up some easy meals because we didn't feel like cooking this week but would love more ideas. I am very interested in their fish.

We picked up the following-
Sukhis Tikka masala and mini naan
Rana cheese ravioli
Yakisoba veg noodles
Potstickers
Chicken flautas
Mango
Nuts

Smoked Norwegian salmon. Green grapes. Madjool dates. Water, Kirkland toilet paper. They also have two chickens for a great cheap price. Not rotisserie, fresh ones. Vitamin D. Glasses and contacts for dd, artichoke hearts, I love, love those. I drain the oil and rinse it, that is way too much oil. Before my wheat allergy, non celiac specific, I loved their croissants. Coconut clusters.

Not to be a buzzkill, but be aware that a lot of the prepared foods have a ton of sodium. That said, here's what I always buy there:

Milk, half & half, Kerrygold butter and Noga plain whole milk yogurt (all much cheaper than the regular grocery store)
Pesto
Wild Alaskan smoked salmon
toilet paper & paper towels, Kirkland laundry soap
Frozen organic blueberries & strawberries
Morey's frozen seasoned salmon
Salad mixes
Baby potatoes
Sukhi's chicken curry
Colombian coffee
Nuts & berries trail mix

I prefer Costco for cooking from scratch ingredients and TJ's for fast frozen meals. We usually don't like many of the prepared or frozen items from Costco but there are a few that are good.

Marinated Salmon
Beer battered Cod (we use to make fish tacos)
Costco Mac and Cheese (its in the area where the in store prepared foods are located)
Rocky Breaded Chicken Tenders
Grilled Mediterranean Chicken Skewers (we grill them to heat them up)

The Tikka masala and the frozen mango are good. I also get the frozen organic 3 berry mix. Frozen mahi and the Chilean seabass were both good. Some kind of ramen or udon noodle in a light brown package think it's GF. The salad kits are not healthy but they are delicious and convenient. Blocks of feta. Comte cheese.

The frozen quiches seems great.

Disgusting but so useful. The 1/2 cooked bacon. I guess it's fully cooked but I wouldn't eat without cooking. I'm keto so end up eating bacon on the regular. But I hate how cooking it smells up the kitchen.

If we’re just talking food, here’s my list. We buy a lot of other things from cleaning/household stuff, to small appliances, electronics, clothing, seasonal items. We also get photos printed there and go there for vision care. Love Costco and we thought we would not save that much $$/it wouldn’t be worth it for our family of 4 but I think we actually save a ton. Most items are so much cheaper there than giant, Safeway, etc.

We don’t like a lot of Costco’s prepared foods either. I’m vegetarian (Really a pescatarian) so can’t comment on the meats but I do like the yakisoba and ravioli and my husband likes the chicken tikka masala. And we do like their salmon—the fresh, the smoked, and the one that comes w pesto butter.

We go about once per month and typically get:
Organic Milk
Cheese (tillamook)
Greek yogurt
Kerrygold butter

Mini naan
Sandwich bread
Tortillas

Clementines/mandarins
Fresh Spinach and/or Bagged salad
Bell peppers
Baby carrots
Broccoli
Bananas
Seasonal fresh fruit such as peaches, plums, melons, pineapples
Fresh Berries
Frozen berries for smoothies

Walnuts
Almonds
Peanuts

Canned tomatoes
Pasta
Rice
Beans

Granola
Cheerios and occasionally other cereals

Coffee
Alcohol
Sparkling water

Kids snacks: goldfish, pirates booty, graham crackers, applesauce, fig bars

Hardwood smoked thick cut bacon

Soupergirl quarts of soup
Wine!

I LOVE the mini naan! I use them to make homemade pizza.

My other favorite were these bagel chips they had at the start of the pandemic that I haven't found since. I am confused why everyone is listing everything they buy there, including staples, when OP asked for favorites ....

We recently tried the miso glazed cod and really liked it. Easy to cook too- just put frozen piece of fish in a foil packet, either in the oven or on the grill. Makes clean up super easy too.

The chicken street tacos are awesome. Also love the pesto for easy meals (on pasta, pizza or baguette).
