Anyone been to the brookside botanical gardens recently

Since COVID started? I would like to take my kids there sometime on a week day but worried about social distancing and mask wearing...

TIA

Have not been since Covid but even pre-Covid during weekends it was not jammed. We used to live near to it. Paths are set up next to grassy areas in most spots so it would be rare that you couldn’t step to the side if needed when passing.

I would not necessarily visit the indoors part unless it happens to be very empty when you get there but That is small anyway. I think the nicest part of it is the outdoors area.

I went in April before it got hot. It was fine, not crowded. Stayed outside.

We went in April also. It was crowded on the day we went, but big enough that you can be sociallly distanced.

We went on a Saturday morning at 8 am, and it was perfect. Not crowded (but not empty), and most people were wearing masks. Plenty of room to social distance. I would not go unless you can go early though. The parking lot was full by the time we left.

Went in June, on a saturday, 1 hr before closure. Parking was almost full but plenty of space and not too many ppl were on the trails. Most people were leaving, so it worked out well.

We go often. Just went yesterday. Not crowded. And if I see it is, I take the kids on a trail walk - which actually is more shady and not as many people on it but then you don’t get to see the flowers, little ponds with various animals.

We drove by once, back in April, when everyone was supposed to stay at home, and I was shocked to see how many cars were in the parking lot, and how many people were just walking around unmasked.

we went last week in the evening. Not supercrowded. Some folks were not masking. You just need to stay far away from them.

I go once a week. Certain days are more crowded than others (Thursday´s and Friday´s) but it was fine. We have a picnic under the trees near the Mandarin pagoda. The children´s area was closed for a bit due to nesting birds but was back open last week. It is outside and plenty of room to get a good SD bubble. We all wore masks except to eat or drink.

I went this am in the rain. There were maybe 20 other people besides my family. It was glorious. A few masks, but mostly no masks because the 25 of us had plenty of space.
