They’re going to know, right? I don’t have any of the premium anonymizing services. (I googled and then just clicked on the first link without reading, thought it would be a company page.)
Under the circumstances this is mortifying. |
Were you signed in? Maybe they won’t know. Honestly I have no clue who looks at my profile nor do I care. |
I was on Safari (iPad) and when I clicked the link it opened the profile in my LinkedIn app (signed in). |
|
I don’t know who looks at my profile because I have my settings set to private, so they can’t see me and I can’t see them
But even if so no worries. Who cares, maybe he showed up in your people you may know and you clicked. |
| You can block on LinkedIn. Block them and they won’t see. |
| Make a fake profile. That's what I do! |
|
Yes they will know. So what?
Why are you googling your ex? |
| Your ex would have to be a premium member to see who is looking at his profile. |
Oh please. “Why would you eat a donut, you know they’re so unhealthy you silly billy!!” |
You can see a certain number of people viewing your profile with just the regular membership. They cut you off at a few per month. |
|
I've seen randos looking on my linkedIn. I've thought...oh, that's interesting...and then thought nothing more of it. I wouldn't worry about it.
BTW, I cyberstalk my exes too. Not because I want to do anything, just out of curiosity. |
Bingo! We have a winner! |
This is good advice and it applies to all social media apps. |
? I don't Google exes. What's the point? |
| You can change your settings to search anonymously but I'm not sure if you have to have a premium account to do this. |
