Look, we get it. You're MAGA. Trump never lies. He's never at fault for anything. He's the epitome of leadership and perfect decisioning. |
The point is, nothing happens in a vacuum. If you cannot understand how Trumps actions when leaving office as it relates to Afghanistan and how our military's hands were tied, then I cannot help you. Do you think each president starts with a clean slate? Because that is not how it works. Clinton, Obama and Biden inherited economic recession or worse. Bush and Trump inherited stable, growing economies. Whoever wins this fall will also be inheriting a stable, growing economy. Biden inherited a sh!t sandwhich with COVID, recession and strict timelines in Afghanistan with limited on the ground resources to deal with it. |
Every time someone says that I know think of a coconut. It never happened because. I grew up in the mid west. |
The coconut image (everything that came before / after ): It’s such a strong image and series of word. Make it staaaaap.
(hahaha) |
Not to mention that it is a politically stupid story and unrelatable. Most Americans are not taking that way.
When Michelle talked about her coaches being wrapped in plastic: I understood that! |
Trump only went to 4 dignified transfers out of 96 during his presidency. He refused to go to any in the last 2 years of his presidency. His VP went to MORE of them than he did. Why didn't he call all the families of soldiers killed under his watch or invite them to the WH? But silence from the Trump defenders. |
Trump’s ANC debacle is because he wouldn’t follow the law and because it was disrespectful. If you think a thumbs up over a grave in ANC for a campaign ad in contravention of the law is what you want from a commander in chief then vote for Trump. The back and forth over the rest of it is irrelevant. |
How quickly Trumplicans forget...
Gold Star families demand Donald Trump apologize Eleven Gold Star families, those who lost loved ones serving the country’s military, wrote a joint letter to the Republican presidential nominee, accusing him of “cheapening the sacrifice” of their deceased relatives in the way he responded to the parents of Captain Humayun S.M. Khan. Captain Khan, of Virginia, died in Iraq in 2004. His father, Khizr Khan, had criticized Trump’s call to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. last Thursday. Trump, in response, said he has “made a lot of sacrifices” by creating “tens of thousands of jobs” during an interview with ABC News. He also questioned whether Khizr Khan’s wife, Ghazala, who was silent on stage next to her husband, was allowed to speak publicly as a Muslim woman. https://time.com/4432779/donald-trump-gold-star-muslim-soldier-2/ |
Are you still coming to the point as to how this is relevant? |
Why even post their pictures in the politics section of some anonymous chat forum. How is that for you to do unless you are family? Just leave them in peace. |
Their families want their sacrifice to be recognized and respected, and we should recognize and respect these brave Military members who died in Service to America and trying to help the Afghan people. They died for all of us. |
I object to doing that in a political forum. Why subject them to an ugly political squabble. Put that is a better place. |
I object to you clearly wanting to not be confronted by the dead loved ones of the Abbey Gate Families. Feel free to not look at them or not learn their names. ![]() Their families planned a Wreath Laying ceremony at Arlington that democrats have wrecked with their political attacks. These people and their families deserve to be honored. |
They should have asked the Trump campaign to respect ANC rules and not film a political ad. |
You are disrespectful. |
